Greenboard is a non-profit organization dedicated to bring computers in the classroom at the lowest possible cost and enabling quality education through the usage of Open Source Software and Open Source Education. This way children or adults alike can learn to use technology to acquire all kind of knowledge faster and be prepared for today's world.

By aiming at a hardware independent solution we're hoping that any school regardless of the computers they have, are able to use Greenboard to deliver a compelling knowledge discovery and acquisition experience. Disadvantaged schools also get an opportunity to use free content and methodologies on recycled hardware or inexpensive mini-laptops that can be found today to provide the same content as other schools.
